Some Landlords served Notices twelve months ago and have not yet had any meaningful discussions with their Tenants as yet as to what level of increase they are looking for.
At a recent meeting with a some of Cheshire’s leading dairy farmers, Tony Rimmer of Rostons discovered despite the current wider economic climate, farmers’ optimism remains strong.
Early signs for 2012 are that the appetite from those commercially minded farmers, be it both dairy and arable, are still keen to acquire land.

What a week!
Normally the New Year brings a quiet start, this year we had the wet and the high winds, which wreaked havoc with travelling round the rural country lanes with fallen trees.
