What a week!
Normally the New Year brings a quiet start, this year we had the wet and the high winds, which wreaked havoc with travelling round the rural country lanes with fallen trees.
It was diverse week with valuations in North Wales on an extremely wet and windy day, with winds that seemed to be coming off Snowdonia that strong, that Tony felt he could be blown off the hillside.
In contrast a valuation of 450 acre substantial farmhouse in Cheshire following the heavy winds, was a much more enjoyable experience.
A sample of other jobs crossing the desk this week have involved advice to a dairy farmer who is finding milk production difficult to make an adequate return; negotiations with a landlord over a surrender of a tenancy for what Tony and the client hopes will be a substantial payment and the valuation of a tenancy for an Expert Witness instruction.
