Milk Production Reduction Scheme
More than 1,800 UK dairy farmers applied for the first tranche of the Milk Production Reduction Scheme. The scheme is aimed at dairy farmers that have decreased their production volume over the last 12 months, who will be eligible for a possible 12ppl payment on the amount they have decreased by.
BPS Announcement – Greening Reduction Penalties
It has recently been announced that from BPS scheme year 2017, if a claimant does not comply with the Greening requirements, Greening penalties may be applied in addition to the reduction to the Greening payment.

HS2 Limited have announced a consultation is now open for amendments to the route for three sections south of Crewe. Two further Consultations have opened for the working draft Environmental Impact Assessment and Equality Impact Assessment reports for Phase 2A.
