A recent update has been published in regards to the payment of Basic Payment claims for 2015.
It is claimed that 47% of claimants have been paid but the majority of those fall within claims ranging between €3,000 to €15,000. A proportion of larger claims (€15,000 – €50,000) have been paid and just 3% of the largest claims (€50,000 plus) have been paid.
Whilst it is noted that a lot of people have not yet received their BPS payment for 2015, if you are one of the claimants that have please be aware of the actions of fraudsters this time of year that have been attempted previously to access your payments.

As claimants start to receive BPS 2015 payments, a remittance advice should be sent. Once the remittance advice is issued a claim statement should be sent by the RPA.
