Cheshire Agricultural Valuers Association Elect New President

Tony Rimmer Director of Rostons, has recently been elected as the 2015/16 President of the Cheshire Agricultural Valuers Association.

At the annual general meeting held at the Swan in Tarporley in the prestigious hunt room, Tony was duly elected to take the position of President from Tim Whiskard, who works for the Environment Agency.

Cheshire Agricultural Valuers Association is the local association for those Agricultural Valuers, who have obtained a membership status of fellow, following a gruelling two day exam process.

Fellows of the Cheshire Agricultural Valuers Association predominantly operate on rural property matters, to ensure you are getting top professional advice, you should ensure your representatives have the letters FAAV after their name.

Tony, a Director of Rostons, is from a farming family so developing a career in agriculture has been a natural progression for him.

Tony, a chartered surveyor who studied at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, is recognised as a national leading expert on Single Payment issues having worked with the RPA to develop their online SPS system. Tony is also an RICS arbitrator, secretary of Cheshire Farmers Club and very heavily involved in the Cheshire Agricultural Community.
