HS2 Phase 2A Update: Further environmental surveys & land interest questionnaires
HS2 LTD will shortly be sending out Land Interest Questionnaires to all land owners and occupiers effected by the proposed route to the South of Crewe.
Nitrate Vulnerable Zone (NVZ) Derogation – Applications Opened 3rd October
Defra has published today the application for a grassland derogation for land that is within a Nitrate Vulnerable Zone (NVZ).
Basic Payment 2016 – Euro Exchange Rate Set
On Friday 30th September the Euro exchange rate was set, this applies to Basic Payment 2016 payments.
Milk Production Reduction Scheme
More than 1,800 UK dairy farmers applied for the first tranche of the Milk Production Reduction Scheme. The scheme is aimed at dairy farmers that have decreased their production volume over the last 12 months, who will be eligible for a possible 12ppl payment on the amount they have decreased by.
BPS Announcement – Greening Reduction Penalties
It has recently been announced that from BPS scheme year 2017, if a claimant does not comply with the Greening requirements, Greening penalties may be applied in addition to the reduction to the Greening payment.
