Grant funding is now available through the Growth Programme for Business Development, Food Processing and Rural Tourism projects in England. Across these three areas, a total fund of £1,318,000 has been allocated for the Cheshire and Warrington area.

Rostons Press Release – Countryside Stewardship 2017 Applications
It is likely that hedgerow and boundaries capital grants will be launched in the next few weeks, with the closing date expected to be 30th April, the same as last year. It is hoped that applications will be able to be submitted online via the Rural Payments service.
Rostons Press Release – HS2 Phase 2B Update
Following the recent announcement with regard to HS2 Phase 2B (Crewe to Manchester), HS2 Ltd are now aiming to deposit the Phase 2B Hybrid Bill in Parliament in 2019 with the aim to have Royal Assent granted by the end of 2022 and this will allow construction to begin in 2026.

On the 15 November 2016, the Government opened two compensation schemes for HS2, Phase 2B. This includes the Express Purchase Scheme, if your property is within the safeguarded area, or the Need to Sell Scheme.
