Farmers working in a partnership and making Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) claims will need to provide fuller detail to the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) this year.
Businesses and farmers already using Rostons to complete their claims will already be aware of this, but others need to take note that they will be required to provide additional details of the partnership, including National Insurance numbers.

By the time you are reading this article Basic Payment Entitlement trading will be all complete, but we believe it would be useful to reflect on what has been a very busy time at the office.
Entitlement Trading 2016 – Update
Entitlement sales and purchases for the 2016 scheme year are able to be carried out until the 16 May 2016.
Rostons are trading English entitlements at the moment in the region of £195 – £200 per ha plus VAT. We also have a number of Non VAT Entitlements for any purchasers who are not VAT registered. We are also trading Welsh entitlements.
