    Entitlement allocation for new Basic Payment Scheme (BPS)

    One of the key questions emerging from the CAP reform political agreement back in June is how entitlements will be dealt with moving into the new scheme.

    Although a final decision as to how these entitlements will be allocated in the new scheme will not be made for a few more months, many commentators are saying that in England, entitlements will roll forward. It has already been confirmed that there will be a new allocation of entitlements in Wales.

    Where are we heading with Entitlement for 2014?

    What are the latest proposals for entitlement allocation in the new scheme?

    Although the principles of the CAP reform deal were agreed late in the afternoon of June 26th 2012, the legislation and detail of many elements have been left undecided.

    One of the key questions arising from this deal is how to obtain entitlements for the new scheme which will be due to take affect from 1st January 2015.

    HS2 Update

    Over the past couple of weeks we have seen the consultation on the route from West Midlands to Manchester, Leeds and beyond open for responses and the launch of the Exceptional Hardship Scheme for Phase 2.

    Countess of Chester Champions British Produce

    RDPE – Dairy fund

    The principle aim of the Dairy Fund is to support activity that facilitates a resilient and competitive dairy sector through projects that enable dairy farms across England to improve competitiveness.  The aim will be delivered through grant support for the costs of exploring formal co-operation.
