Rostons has begun the second period of Entitlement trading for 2015 as SPS entitlement has been rolled over to BPS entitlement on the 1st January 2015.
Deals in the last fortnight have been agreed at £50-£60/ha for English Non SDA and the entitlement team are taking enquiries from both perspective Vendors and Purchasers on a daily basis, discussing all types of Entitlement, Non SDA, SDA and Moorland.
Rostons are negotiating deals now ahead of the Entitlement transfer window which is due to open on the Rural Payments Online system at some stage in March. Once the window opens transfers will take place on the online system up until the 15th May.
Rostons advise that anybody with surplus entitlement should get them sold ahead of the 15th May to avoid losing them to the National Reserve, conversely, those with a shortage of entitlement for their 2015 Basic Payment claim should take the opportunity to purchase entitlement now to take advantage of the current trade.
