Hailing from farming stock in Gloucestershire, Tony has been surrounded by agriculture his whole life, so his decision to attend the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester was almost inevitable.

On graduation, he joined national firm Bruton Knowles before moving to Frank R Marshall and Co. in Cheshire in 1995 as an auctioneer. He joined Carver Knowles in 2000 and was a founding Director of Carver Knowles NW Ltd in 2005 and ultimately Rostons in 2007.

A chartered surveyor by profession with specialist skills in single payment/entitlement trading, Tony’s more than two decades’ experience of rural and agricultural consultancy – combined with extensive experience in Cheshire and the North West – gives him an unrivalled advantage when dealing with any rural specialism.
