Farm Sale Case Study
Farm sale rearranged due to Covid-19
Having had our farm sale booked for today (7th November) we certainly panicked when Boris announced on the 30th October that a lockdown was being implemented with affect from Thursday 5th November. We should not have panicked as the Rostons team and in particular, Tony Rimmer and Andrew Wallace, had plans a foot.
Andrew liaised with us on the Sunday following Boris’ announcement and suggested we brought our sale forward to the Wednesday.
This gave us two days to advertises and broadcast the sale. We did not think this could be done, but Tony and his team were positive they would be able to reach out the public by social media, texts and emails of the change of date. In fact, Tony and his team contacted over 200,000 people. We’re pleased to say we had successful sale.
We would like to express our thanks and gratitude to the Rostons team and congratulate them on their sound advice, expertise and professionalism leading to a resounding successful result.
